Zweigelt

Dark ruby red, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Ripe heart cherries, underlaid with fine plum fruit, a hint of nougat. Medium complexity, black berry fruit, fresh structure, mineral finish, offers easy drinking pleasure.
Our classically vinified wines are marketed under the "Umriss" vineyard designation. The vines are 15-30 years old. For us, classically vinified means matured in large 3000l barrels. The Umriss wines are very fruity, typical of the variety and not too rich in alcohol. They are wonderful, uncomplicated food companions.
