Strong ruby garnet; fruity nose of red berries. On the palate the red berry nuances continue, some red cherry, balanced, juicy, drinkable, offers uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
Our classically vinified wines are marketed under the "Umriss" vineyard designation. The vines are 15 years old. Classically vinified means aged at and in large barrels. The Umriss wines are very fruity, typical of the variety and not too rich in alcohol. They are wonderful, uncomplicated food accompaniments.
Recommendations:
Best serving temperature: 17°C - or chilled 12°C - Slightly chilled, the St.Lauent Umriss is also highly enjoyable to drink during the hot season
Recommended glass: Bordeaux glass
Recommended dishes: Pasta dishes - pasta wine, or just like that.
Nice food companion, very good price-performance ratio.
Best to enjoy: 2025 to 2032
